10th grade, and another iteration of Guardian armor too. I went with flat and angular plates reminiscent of the F-117, or at least I hoped.

I think the gun is like a 28mm recoilless rifle or something. Back then I had done stupid amounts of writeups on this stuff instead of doing homework, excerpted below:


"The Guardian Battle Armor System sports several rare and experimental defense systems that have never been reproduced.
Unlike conventional servo-operated powered armor, Guardian armor is made of two parts. The first part is the Biomesh suit. This semi-organic suit comprises of seven layers, with several external hardpoints for mounting armor and a pack hardpoint that contains life support systems and a miniature zero-point energy harvester. The outermost layer is made of a very flexible, waterproof carbon nanotube weave. Beneath that layer is the power augmentation layer, which uses a type of semi-amorphous piezoelectric crystal to amplify the wearer's motions. Its power-to-weight ratio is an extraordinary 15:1, and so the operator is fully liberated of burdens that would normally plague battle armors. In turn, beneath this layer is a fibrous mesh of carbon nanotubes filled with organic neural-lacing. This lacing only used when there are more than one organic component in the armor, for coordination and reflex enhancement. A thermal regulating layer resides under it, and is linked to a liquid thermal regulator on a hardpoint, located on the back of the biomesh suit. The final layer is a soft, almost paper-like inner layer. This is in fact a symbiote that feeds on sweat exuded from the skin, splitting it into separate components: waste material, water, and salt. The water is recycled back to the operator via life-support, organic components of the armor and the symbiote itself, where it is then exuded in a clear mucous, preventing chafing and "armor burn.""
